HCD_REQUEST_COMPANIONS Adapter Device Driver ioctl Operation
Purpose
Requests port routing information about the Open Host Controller Interface (OHCI) companion controllers.
Description
This ioctl command
is used by the configuration application to determine information
about the OHCI companion controller. This information includes the
number of root hub ports, the number of companion controllers, and
the number of ports per companion controller.
Return values
The following return values are supported:
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| 0 | Successful completion. |
| DEFAULT | The user has insufficient authority to access the data. |
| EIO | A permanent I/O error occurred. |
