.SH DESCRIPTION
This script creates a new \fIxdm\fR subsystem for the \fIsrcmstr\fR(1)
source master, and enables the startup & shutdown of \fIxdm\fR with 
\fItcpip\fR(5); however, if the system is not running \fItcpip\fR, then
\fIxdm\fR is started by \fIinit\fR(1)."

This script does not configure \fIxdm\fR, or any of it's resources found
in the \fI/usr/lib/X11/xdm\fR directory.
