Help for office web desktop backdrop.
The web desktop backdrop is an example of a dynamic web backdrop that can be displayed using an internet browser. You can click on some of the objects inside the room to launch various applications. The image below shows the objects that launch applications. Clicking within the area inside the box around an object will launch the application that is linked to the object. The web desktop backdrop is really an HTML image map that calls actions that launch applications. To turn off the "Office" backdrop, just go to the CDE desktop Style Manager and select a different backdrop. For dynamic backdrops to work properly, you must be using Netscape 4.0 or higher.

You can create you own rooms or modify this room. Additionally, you can use any HTML page as your CDE desktop backdrop. For example you could use your personal home page as your backdrop or use a page that contains links to other pages that you frequently access. For more information on how to enable web backdrops, read the configuration information help page.
