Uppercase to Lowercase Mapping

The uppercase to lowercase mapping shows, for example, that in the WE8ROMAN8 character set, the uppercase character F maps to the lowercase character f.

If a character is already lowercase, it is mapped to itself. For example, lowercase f is mapped to lowercase f in the WE8ROMAN8 character set.

Searching for an Uppercase to Lowercase Mapping

You can search for an existing uppercase to lowercase mapping:

  1. Click Search. The Table Search dialog box will appear.
  2. Enter the uppercase value, uppercase glyph, lowercase value, or lowercase glyph in the appropriate field of the Table Search dialog box.
  3. Click Go. The row will appear in the stationary dialog box.

Adding, Modifying, and Deleting Information

You can add an uppercase to lowercase mapping to the character set:

  1. Click New.
  2. Specify the uppercase value, uppercase glyph, lowercase value, and lowercase glyph in the appropriate fields of the stationary dialog box.
  3. Click Add.

You can modify existing information:

  1. Click the row that you want to modify. It will appear in the stationary dialog box.
  2. Make the desired changes.
  3. Click Modify.

You can delete a row:

  1. Click the row that you want to delete. It will appear in the stationary dialog box.
  2. Click Delete.
