Browser Detection Script checks if Internet Explorer 5.5 is being used and adjusts the font size if it is.

Shape Table

The Shape Table applies to character sets that have the DISPLAY flag set. (See Type Specification.) The Shape Table shows the different forms of a character, primarily in Arabic character sets. The shape of a character differs according to its position in the text:

Searching for a Character

You can search for a character in one of the tables:

  1. Enter the local code value or the glyph in the appropriate field in the stationary table.
  2. Choose the table you want to search (Initial, Medial, Final, Stand Alone) by clicking one of the buttons above the stationary table.
  3. Click Search. The row will be highlighted in the table that you have searched.

Adding, Modifying, and Deleting Information

You can add characters to the shape tables:

  1. Click New.
  2. Specify the local character value and the glyph in the appropriate fields of the stationary dialog box.
  3. Choose the table to which you want to add the character (Initial, Final, Medial, Stand Alone). Click one of the buttons above the stationary table.
  4. Click Add.

You can modify existing information:

  1. Click the row that you want to modify. It will appear in the stationary dialog box.
  2. Make the desired changes.
  3. Click Modify.

You can delete a row:

  1. Click the row that you want to delete. It will appear in the stationary dialog box.
  2. Click Delete.
