Miscellaneous Language Characteristics

You can accept the settings associated with the language definition or you can modify the settings of the following language characteristics:

• Writing direction: Click the appropriate button to choose between Left to Right and Right to Left. Click the appropriate button to choose between Vertical and Horizontal.
• Affirmative and negative responses: Enter the desired responses. For example, enter yes and no.
• Local AM and PM equivalents: Enter the desired expressions for AM (ante meridian or morning) and PM (post meridian or afternoon and evening).
• Local AD and BC equivalents: Enter the desired expressions for AD (anno domini) and BC (before Christ).
