Defining a New Territory

You can create a new territory based on an existing territory definition:

1. Click Show Existing Definitions.
2. Highlight a territory name.
3. Click Open.
4. Change the Territory Name to a unique name.
5. Change the Territory ID to a number between 1000 and 10,000.
6. Change the Territory Abbreviation to a unique two- or three-letter code.
7. Modify desired characteristics such as Monetary Format.
8. Save the new territory definition by choosing File > Save As, choosing the location in which to save the file, and clicking Save.

You can also create a new territory by entering data for each set of characteristics:

• Calendar format
• Date and time format
• Number format
• Monetary format
• Number and currency formats
• Common locale information
