Character Rules

This information is included only with the existing definition of Japanese in this release. It includes:

• Characters that cannot begin a line of text
• Characters that cannot end a line of text
• Dangling characters (characters that cannot be used alone)

If you want to add characters to these lists, enter them in the fields. You do not need to separate the characters with anything such as a comma or space. To save the information you have changed or added, see Defining a New Language.
