Specify Namespace in Internet Directory for Users and Groups

During Installation, a default identity management realm was created for you. This realm contains users, groups, and management policies. In Oracle Internet Directory, all users and groups must be associated with an identity management realm. Oracle components look for user and group entries in this realm.

Use this screen to create a new default identity management realm that meets your deployment needs.

Current Default Realm Location

This is the namespace of the current default identity management realm.

New Default Realm Location

If the default location does not meet your deployment needs, use this field to specify an alternate namespace for your default identity management realm.

The DN for an alternate namespace can contain only the following LDAP attributes: c, dc, l, o, ou, and st. For example: ou=sales,o=Acme Corp,c=UK.
