Directory Connection Details Window

Use this window to specify directory connection parameters. The window contains these fields:

• Hostname

  The directory host. The default is the local host.

• Port

  The directory port. The default is 389.

• SSL Enabled

  The box you check to make an SSL connection to the directory.

• User

  The directory super user. The DN you enter must have privileges that enable it to configure an identity managment realm. The default is cn=orcladmin.

• Password

  Specify the password for the user DN.

After you fill in these fields and choose Next, the Configuration Assistant verifies the entries. It then uses this information to connect to the directory. If the connection fails, the configuration assistant displays an error message.
