Functional Dependency Analysis

Functional dependency analysis reveals information about column relationships. This enables you to search for things such as one attribute determining another attribute within an object.

Table: Employees Table shows the contents of the Employees table in which the attribute Dept. Location is dependent on the attribute Dept. Number. Note that the attribute Dept. Number is not dependent on the attribute Dept. Location.
