Saving Wallets in the System Default Directory

Use the Save in System Default menu option to save the current open wallet to the system default directory (SSL uses this wallet).

To save wallets in the system default directory:

Choose Wallet > Save in System Default.

A message at the bottom of the window confirms that the wallet was successfully saved in the system default wallet location as follows for UNIX and Windows platforms:

• (UNIX) ORACLE_HOME/admin/ORACLE_SID

• (Windows)ORACLE_BASE\ORACLE_HOME\rdbms\admin

Note: Some Oracle applications are not able to use the wallet if it is not in the system default location. Check the Oracle documentation for your specific application to determine whether wallets must be placed in the default wallet directory location.
