If you have registered your database with a directory service, you can use this dialog box to specify whether or not, you want to configure Oracle Label Security with Oracle Internet Directory.
Managing Oracle Label Security metadata in the Oracle Internet Directory centralized LDAP repository provides many benefits. Instead of storing certain types of Oracle Label Security information in the database, it can be stored in the centrally-managed directory service. As a result, policies and user label authorizations can be easily provisioned and distributed throughout the enterprise.
