Oracle Universal Installer checks operating system patches and configuration to ensure that the servers you select to install the software meet minimum requirements for a successful installation. At the bottom of the screen, you can monitor the progress of preinstallation checks
If an installation check is performed and a server fails the check, then the prerequisite checks table displays Failed in the status column for the check performed. If you select the failed check, you can click the More Details link in the progress monitor field at the bottom of the screen to view detailed information about the failed configuration check.
Oracle Universal Installer can fix many operating system configuration issues using Fix-up scripts. If it can generate a script to fix the configuration issue, then it indicates that the failed prerequisite check can be fixed in the Fixable column. To fix a failed configuration check, select the failed item in the Checks list, and click Fix and Check Again. You can also click Show Failed to obtain a list of failed prerequisite checks.
If you want to proceed with the installation in spite of failed prerequisite checks, then you can click Ignore All.
