Implementing a Dimension

Implementing a dimension consists of specifying how the dimension and its data are physically stored. You can choose either a relational implementation, ROLAP implementation, or MOLAP implementation for a dimension. When you store dimension data in a relational form, you can implement the dimension using one of the following methods:

• Star Schema

• Snowflake Schema
