Viewing Cache Coherency Metrics

Cluster cache coherency metrics help you to identify processing trends and optimize performance for your Real Application Clusters environment.

To view the metrics, follow these steps:

In Enterprise Manager, click Databases in the Targets tab, and navigate to the Cluster Database Home page.
Click Performance. You may be prompted to log into the cluster database.
Click Cluster Cache Coherency in the Additional Monitoring Links section of the Performance page. You can alternatively click on either of the legends to the right of the Global Cache Block Access Latency chart.
The Cluster Cache Coherency page appears, which contains summary charts for cache coherency metrics for the cluster.
Click on any of the legends to the right of the charts for detailed information at the instance level in the page that appears.
For instance, if you want to view the total transfer by instance, click the Total Transfer legend next to the Global Cache Block Transfer chart.
From the instance page, click on any instance legend below the chart to drill down to the Segment Statistics by Instance page.

Click Help in the Cluster Cache Coherency page or the drilldown pages for information about interpreting these charts and metrics.
