Follow these steps:
Log into Grid Control.
In the Setup menu, select Add Target and then click Discover Targets.
In the Discovery page, in the Add Targets with Assistance of Discovery section, select Oracle Database, ASM, and Listeners, and click Add Targets.
In the Add Database Instance Target: Specify Host page, select the host on which the targets reside.
In the Add Database: Specify Source page, if the host is a member of a cluster, select the option to look for databases on all hosts in the cluster. Specify Discovery Hints in the Advanced Options section.
In the Targets Discovered on Host page, do the following:
Select the databases that you want to add. Specify the system and select the group to which you want to add them. You can also configure the database instance properties.
Select the ASM instances you want to add. Select the group to which you want to add them.
Select the Listeners to be added and also select the group.
Click Next.
In the Targets Discovered Summary page, verify that the targets you have selected to add appear correctly and click Save.
The database target is added for monitoring and management by Enterprise Manager.
