Create Dictionary Synchronization : Mode Page

Use this page to specify the mode of synchronization.

Synchronization processing includes three stages: Comparison of Source with Destination, Generation of Impact Report and Script, and Execution of the Script. Unattended Synchronization Mode executes all three stages without user interaction. Interactive Synchronization Mode allows you to review comparison results, selectively exclude objects from synchronization, and review impact report and script before executing the script.

Select Use Unattended Synchronization Mode if you want to execute all three stages of synchronization without user interaction. If the synchronization script is generated with an error impact report message, the script will not be executed. If you select this mode, specify the destination host credentials.

Select Use Interactive Synchronization Mode to review comparison results, selectively exclude objects from synchronization, review impact report and script, and then execute the script. You will need to review each step for synchronization to continue. In this mode, destination host credentials are specified at a later stage, when continuing to the script execution.
