Use the End-User Performance Analysis Reports to view additional details about the end-user response time of your Web application pages.
Consider the following notes as you analyze the end-user response time for a selected URL, domain, region, visitor, or Web server:
For information about the specific response time metrics provided on these pages, see About the End-User Response Time Metrics.
For more information about using axes to analyze your end-user performance data, see About End-User Performance Analysis Reports.
When you first display the End-User Performance Analysis page, Enterprise Manager displays a set of metrics that summarize the overall response time of the selected axis for the time period shown at the top of the page (usually about 24 hours).
For example, if you selected a URL as the axis to analyze, Enterprise Manager displays the URL Performance Details, which provide average overall performance statistics for the URL.
After you review the summary metrics for a selected axis (for example, a URL), you can then analyze the performance of the URL as it was experienced by each visitor, each region, and each domain that requested the page.
For example, select Visitor from the Analyze drop-down list and then click Analyze.
Enterprise Manager displays a report that shows the response time as it was experienced by each visitor that requested the URL.
Analyzing a URL in this manner can help you identify why the response time spiked at a particular point in time. You might find, for example, that the URL performance is less than optimal when users from a particular Internet domain request the URL. Such a finding might indicate that the poor performance is the result of network issues rather than application server performance issues.
The following table describes the axes available on the Analyze drop-down list. The available options vary, depending upon the axis you first selected to analyze.

Analyze Option
|
Description
|
|---|---|
| URL | Displays an analysis report aggregated by URL. For example, if you are viewing the response time experienced by a particular visitor, the report lists every URL requested by the visitor. |
| Domain |
Displays an analysis report aggregated by domain. For example, if are viewing the response time of a URL, use this report to compare how the URL performed when accessed by the different domains. |
| Region | Displays an analysis report aggregated by region. For information on defining regions, see Adding Regions. |
| Visitor | Displays an analysis report aggregated by visitor. In most cases, each visitor is represented by their network TCP/IP address. |
| Web Server | Displays an analysis report aggregated by each Web server listed as a component of this Web application target. Use this option if you are using multiple Web Cache instances and you want to compare the performance of the URL as it is served from each cache. |
