When you add a Load Balancer Switch as a managed target, Enterprise Manager provides the ability to monitor its critical performance indicators.
A set of predefined metrics is monitored, and alerts are generated by Enterprise Manager when a metric crosses a critical or warning threshold. You can edit the critical and warning threshold values to suit your requirements.
You can monitor the alerts by clicking the Alerts tab on any Enterprise Manager page.
You can configure Enterprise Manager to setup e-mail notification or another notification mechanism when a threshold for an alert is reached.
