A monitoring template is a collection of settings that you can define once and apply to multiple targets. To create a monitoring template for a service, follow the steps given below:
Click the Setup option in Enterprise Manager. The main Setup page is displayed.
Click the Monitoring Templates link on the left panel.
Click Create to create a monitoring template.
In the target selection box, enter or select a service target and click Continue.
In the Monitoring Template General Page, enter the name of the template that you wish to create.
Click Tests to add / remove or configure service tests associated with the selected service target. Make the required changes to this page and click OK to save the template to the repository.
