A monitoring template is a collection of settings that you can define once and apply to multiple targets. To apply a monitoring template for a service, follow the steps given below:
Click the Setup option in Enterprise Manager. The main Setup page is displayed.
Click the Monitoring Templates link on the left panel. A list of existing templates is displayed.
Select a service based template from the list and click Apply. The Apply Monitoring Template page is displayed.
Follow the steps in the wizard and click OK to apply the template to the service. Refer to Apply Monitoring Template Page for details.
