The Enterprise Manager Grid Control Topology Viewer allows you to view the relationship between the service and its dependencies, including other services, system key components, and Network Adapter targets, such as the SMARTS Network Adapter. Topology viewer displays all the determinants for your service's availability in graphical form. More information can be found at About Using Topology Viewer. To view the topology for a service:
In Grid Control, click Targets, then Services.
A list of all existing services is displayed.
Note: If the Services subtab does not appear on the Targets tab, an administrator may have modified the Enterprise Manager preferences to remove it. For more information, see Customizing Target Subtabs.
Find the service you want and click the service name to get to the home page for that service.
From the Service Home page, click Topology.
Click Help for more information on using the topology viewer.
