The report tabulates all the targets information that are identified as the root causes of service's failure. This information is presented in 2 tables according to the prominence. Table 1 shows all root cause targets' name, type, outage duration, their availability % and the count of other services that are impacted by that root cause target. The table one's prominence is given to service impact count so it shows the impact counts as a cigar chart too. Second table shows the similar information with prominence given to outage duration of the root cause target. And the tables are also sorted according to the their key fields.
All this RCA information is accounted for over a user input time period. So if user has chosen last 7 days as the time period on the report, it will show all the targets' information that are identified as a failure causes for the given service since last 7 days.
Child Report: This report has a child report. Both the tables in the report show the impact count number, which in turn is a link to the child report. This report tabulates the details of all the services impacted by that root cause target. The table of the child report shows the service name, type and the availability %.
The Information Publisher comes with 2 out of box reports.
