Filtering the List of Jobs

You can choose to display only jobs of a certain type by doing the following:

  1. Click the Jobs tab. Enterprise Manager displays the Job Activity page, on which you can view the results of job runs and executions. Or, click Library to display the Job Library page, which shows jobs that are stored in the job library. Jobs that are stored in the job library can be shared and re-used by multiple users, provided they have been granted access to those jobs.

You can also access the Job Activity page through links provided on many Enterprise Manager pages. Note that the jobs displayed may depend on the link you clicked; for instance, if you click a link from a particular home page, the list will be filtered for that target and possibly certain job statuses as well.

  2. In the Search section of the Job Activity page or Job Library page, select a job type in the Job Type list. If you select All, all the job types that have been defined will be displayed. A job type appears in the Job Type list only when at least one job of that type has been defined. If you specify values for other fields in the Search section, you can perform more advanced job searches. The search criteria you specify will be combined by logical AND.

The jobs that meet your search criteria are listed in the Results table.

For more information about search filters, see the section "Search Filters" in the online help for the Job Activity Page.
