job execution

Most jobs typically execute their job logic in parallel against multiple targets. For such jobs, each job run would consist of multiple job executions, one job execution per target. So, a daily job against 2 targets would have a Monday run consisting of 2 job executions, one against each target; a Tuesday run consisting of 2 job executions, one against each target, and so on.

There are other types of jobs (for example, clone jobs) whose executions do not run in parallel against multiple targets, but may be partly run against one target, then run against another. For these types of jobs, one job execution could run against multiple targets.
