Target subtabs are categories of targets that appear as secondary tabs within the primary Targets tab. Target subtabs provide immediate access to the categories of targets you may want to access most often.
Note: This feature does not apply to Database Control.
The default target subtabs are displayed under the Targets tab in the following order:
Host
Database
Application Servers
Web Applications
Services
Systems
Groups
All Targets
You can immediately benefit from these; however, you can order these subtabs or remove subtabs. Target subtabs is a user preference, and each Enterprise Manager administrator can customize his own target subtabs.
To customize Target Subtabs:
From the Enterprise Manager Console, click Preferences at the top of the page.
Click Target Subtabs in the vertical navigation bar.
Us the Move, Move All, Remove, and Remove All buttons to add or remove the subtabs from the Available Target Subtabs and Selected Target Subtabs lists.
Organize the subtabs in the Selected Target Subtabs section as needed using the arrow buttons.
Press the Apply button.
Note: You can customize the target subtabs further by creating a group. Then, add the group that you access all the time to the target subtab so you have immediate access to it instead of drilling down from the Groups subtab.
