Changing Network Appliance Filer Configuration Information

You can change the configuration information used by Enterprise Manager to monitor and administer the Network Appliance Filer. To do so:

Navigate to the home page of the Management Agent monitoring the Network Appliance Filer.
Select the Network Appliance Filer target from the list of targets. Click Configure.
On the Configuration page, change the monitoring properties as appropriate.
Click Test Connection to validate the changes.

Note: The number of network hops between the Management Agent host and target filer should be as small as possible. It is highly recommended that the icmp ping response time be less than 3 milliseconds. Test Connection operation would warn you if the given Management Agent is not optimal for monitoring the specified filer target.
Click OK.
