To view the storage history of a host, do the following:
From the Targets tab, click either All Targets or Hosts.
Either type the name of the desired host in the Search field or scroll down to the name of the host in the Name column.
Click the name of the host. The Home page for the host appears.
In the Related Links section of the Host home page, click Storage Details.
On the Storage Details page, click any of the links in the Overall Utilization, Provisioning Summary, or Consumption Summary charts. You can also click on the related link Storage History that navigates to the history page corresponding to the Overall Utilization of the host.
In the View list, choose the storage summary type in which you are interested. Likewise, in the View Data list, choose the interval of interest.
Click Help for more information about the host's storage information.
To view the History page of a group's storage, do the following:
From the Targets tab, click either All Targets or Groups.
Either type the name of the desired group in the Search field or scroll down to the name of the group in the Name column.
Click the name of the group. The Home page for the group appears.
In the Related Links section of the Group home page, click Storage Details.
On the Storage Details page, click any of the links in the Overall Utilization, Provisioning Summary, or Consumption Summary charts. You can also click on the related link Storage History that navigates to the history page corresponding to the Overall Utilization of the group.
If the history page is accessed for the first time for the given group, an intermediate page asks you to confirm that you want to enable the history. Please note that maintaining storage history of a group is resource intensive.
If you press Yes, Enterprise Manager navigates to an intermediate progress page while it is being enabled and then navigates to the Storage History page. The history would be maintained from the point of time when history computation was enabled. History computation can be disabled from the Storage History page using the Disable/Enable History toggle button. Note that disabling the history does not delete the existing history data of the group; it would just stop new history data point computations.
In the View list, choose the storage summary type in which you are interested. Likewise, in the View Data list, choose the interval of interest.
