Use this page to configure a set of software components, including the operating system, and bundle them together to be provisioned to the hardware servers.
An image can be defined as a specific set of software components, including the operating system, that is bundled together, along with any collateral required by the installation process (such as directives and configuration information). Images are provisioned on one or more hardware targets.
The Image component in Linux Provisioning will provide a complete list of all software and configuration information that is required to provision a harware server.
Software versions indicate the specific release of a product, a release modified by a patch, and/or a software bundle released or packaged by the vendor.
The Oracle Software Library maintains these software components.
You can view a list of existing images based on different versions of the software bundles (such as Latest, Latest Mature, Inactive, and All Mature versions).
In the View drop-down list, select the required value to view the images for that version (or category) of the software bundle.
You can also perform a search for the required components by clicking Advanced Search.
