Create Image Assignment: Select Image/Suite page

Use this page to select the required Image, or suite that will be included in the new assignment that you are creating.

When you are provisioning a Suite Assignment, not only does it apply the images onto the selected targets, but it does this in a sequence.

For example, you have IM1 and IM2 (images) that are made up of Oracle Server and Oracle Client respectively. Now, you want to apply these images on multiple targets. Linux Provisioning will first install IM1 (that has Oracle server as its component) into all the specified targets, and only then will it move on to install IM2 (Oracle Client in this example) on the specified targets.

Usage Tips

You can view a list of existing Images/Suites based on different versions (such as Latest, Latest Mature, Inactive, and All Mature versions).

In the View drop-down list, select the required value to view a list of the selected version of Images/Suites.

From the results table, select the radio button corresponding to the Image or Suite that you want to include in the Assignment, and click Next.

Note: The selection that you make here, should be in tune with the type of Assignment that you have selected, previously. For example, if you have selected "Create Image Assignment", you must select an Image, here (and not a Suite).
