Administration: Add default Image Configuration page

Use this page to add to new default image. You must have created the required default images from under the Images tab, in the Provisioning application. A default image will have an RPM repository associated with it. A default image when created, will include the default directives (staging, pre-install, install, post-install, and cleanup), and a disk layout.

In this page, you must specify the configuration details for the new default image, including the Prefix to it (IP address), a network profile, and an appropriate image (a default image that you have already created).

Usage Tips

In the Nework Profile field, enter the appropriate network profile name. Alternatively, you can click Select to view a list of the network profiles in the look-up window that is displayed, and select the required profile.

Similarly, in the Image field, enter the appropriate image name, or click Select to view the list of images in the look-up window, and select the required Image.

In the Boot Server section of this page, click Add to associate a boot server to the new default image that you are creating.

In the Staging Storage down-down list, select an appropriate staging server for the new default image.
