Suppressing Violations

A suppressed violation is one that does not display on the console pages. To suppress a policy violation from being displayed in the user interface, use the Suppress Violation page.

To access the Suppress Violation page:

  1. On the Policy Violations page, click the number in the Violation Count column.

  2. On the resulting Policy Violation Details page, locate the Violations section and select the objects whose violations you do not want displayed.

  3. Click Suppress Violation. On the resulting Suppress Violation page, choose the option that best fits your needs.

On the Suppress Violation page, click Help for more information about suppressing violations including the Suppress Violation Until options.

Note: Once a violation is suppressed, the violation is not considered when the compliance score is calculated.
