The Add Comment page provides you with the ability to share notes with other administrators regarding a violation. For example, you can share information with other administrators about the violations associated with this policy and who is responsible for overseeing the adherence to the policy.
To add comments to a policy rule violation, do the following:
Click Violations from the Policies tab.
In the results table, locate the policy to which you want to add a comment, click the number in the Violation Count column.
On the Policy Violation Details page, in the Violations section, select the object to which you want to add a comment, click Add Comment.
On the Add Comment page, type the text. Click OK.
The Policy Violations page is accessible from many of the target home pages, for example, a host home page, database home page, and so on.
To have the same note associated with many policy violations, in the Violations results table on the Policy Violation Details page, select all the objects to which you want the comment to apply.
Once a comment is added, it cannot be deleted.
On the Add Comment page, click Help for more information about adding comments.
