Enterprise Manager is designed to help you quickly identify, isolate, and correct problems in your enterprise. The first step in this monitoring process is to establish a high-level view of your Oracle environment and then drill down into specific problem areas.
A common entry point to begin monitoring your environment is the Enterprise Manager Grid Contorl Home page, which consolidates key information about your environment in one location. To display the Grid Control Home page, click the Home tab.
From this page, you can:
Quickly establish the availability of your managed targets.
View how many critical, warning, and error alerts have been triggered for all your targets.
Search for a particular target to monitor, administer, or configure.
Quickly view configuration information about installed Oracle software, operating systems, and hardware running in your enterprise.
