Creating, Loading or Dropping Java Sources

Oracle Enterprise Manager allows you to manage java sources associated with the current database through the Java Sources property sheet. You can use the property sheet to create, load and drop java sources.

You can create or edit the text of your java source and you can load or drop the java source. In edit mode, you can also compile the source code. The Java source must be in your own schema and you must have the EXECUTE object privilege on Java classes.

To manage a java source:

  1. Navigate to the Database Home page.

  2. On the Schema tab, click Java Sources in the Programs section.

The Java Source Search page appears containing a results table listing all current java sources.

  3. Choose the action you want to perform. You can create a new java source or you can load or drop a java source.

Click Help for more information about java sources.
