Creating, Editing or Deleting Resource Plans

Oracle Enterprise Manager allows you to manage the list of resource plans associated with the current database through the Resource Plans property sheet. You can use resource plans to allocate resources among consumer groups. These resource plans contain directives that specify the resources to be given to each group and can be specified in hierarchical fashion using subplans.

The Resource Plans property sheet consists of six pages. Click Help on any one of the pages for help on that page.

You can use the Resource Plans property sheet to create, delete and modify the settings of a resource plan.

To manage a resource plan:

  1. Navigate to the Database Home page.

  2. On the Server tab under the Resource Manager section, click Plans.

The Resource Plans Search page appears containing a results table listing all current resource plans for the current database.

  3. Choose the action you want to perform. You can create a new resource plan or you can select a resource plan from the results list and choose one of the actions from the command drop down list.

Click Help for more information about resource plans.
