Oracle Enterprise Manager allows you to manage the list of profiles associated with the current database through the Profiles property sheet.
You can assign a profile to each user, and a default profile to all users who do not have specific profiles. For profiles to take effect, resource limits must be turned on for the database as a whole. You can use the Profiles property sheet to create, delete and modify the settings of a profile. Use the Profiles General page to set metric profiles for the specified user. Use the Profiles Password page to set password parameters for the profile.
To manage a profile:
Navigate to the Database Home page.
On the Schema tab, click Profiles in the Users & Privileges section.
The Profiles Search page appears containing a results table listing all current profiles for the current database.
Choose the action you want to perform. You can create a new profile or you can select a profile from the results list and choose one of the actions from the command drop down list.
Click Help for more information about profiles.
