Oracle Enterprise Manager allows you to compare the configuration of the current database instance with one or multiple databases on the current host or on other hosts. When you run the compare operation, Enterprise Manager displays a table showing you the configuration of the current database in a specific topical area, such as Rollback Segments, and compares it to each database you selected to which you want it compared.
Each page of the Compare Database Configuration Results property sheet shows you the configuration comparisons of the databases grouped into categories such as Initialization Parameters, Tablespaces, Datafiles, and Redologs.
You can also compare two or more hosts by choosing Compare Hosts from the Compare Database Configuration Results page.
