Routing and Access Rights Configuration Page

Use the Routing and Access Rights Configuration page to specify the routing preferences, and the access rights preferences.

Usage Tips

Routing

Clients and servers acting as clients can be configured so that connection requests are directed to a specific process. To configure this feature so that all connections use a particular server, you choose Always Use Dedicated Server option. Else choose Prefer Connection Manager Routing option.

Access Rights

Use this section to configure the database access control file (sqlnet.ora) to give access privileges to clients. Choose Check TCP/IP Access Rights option to provide access privileges to the database. If you select this option, Enterprise Manager identifies the clients that are allowed to access the database.

For more information, see "Routing Connection Requests", and "Configuring Database Access Control" under "Configuring Profiles " in the Oracle Net Services Administrator's Guide.
