Use this page to search exclusively for the database services in the directory server. The net service names in the directory identifies a variety of services, in addition to database services.
You can add database services to the Oracle internet directory by importing
net service names from an existing tnsnames.ora file, or you can
add them to the directory while creating or configuring the database with the
Oracle Database Configuration Assistant.
For more information about the Oracle Database Configuration Assistant, see the Oracle Database installation documentation for your platform.
For more information about naming methods, see "Configuring Naming Methods" in the Oracle Net Services Administrator's Guide.
