Use this page to manage the listeners for a selected Oracle home configuration file.
For more information, see the chapter "Configuring and Administering the Listener" in the Oracle Net Services Administrator's Guide.
You can perform actions on a listener by selecting the listener, and choosing an option from the Actions drop-down menu. The following table lists some of the actions to which you should pay close attention:
Action |
Description |
|---|---|
Change Tracing |
Choose this option to specify how much information should be saved in the listener trace files. For example, if you are troubleshooting a performance problem, you can modify the tracing settings so Enterprise Manager saves additional information in the listener trace files. Note: This option is available only when a listener is up, and running. |
Change Logging |
Choose this option to enable or disable logging for the selected listener. Note: This option is available only when a listener is up, and running. |
Make Enterprise Manager Target |
Choose this option to create a new Enterprise Manager target for the listener.
After you make the listener a target, use the Listener Home page,
and other Enterprise Manager features to manage the listener. |
Show Listener Control Status |
Choose this option to view general status information about the listener. This option is equivalent to entering the following command at the operating system prompt: $PROMPT> lsnrctl status
