Use this page to add, edit, or remove addresses for a listener. If you are creating a new listener, use this page to also enter a name for the listener. If you are editing the listener, you can rename it by entering a new name in the Listener Name field.
Each listener is configured with a protocol address. Clients configured with the same protocol address can send connection requests to the listener. Once a connection is established, the client, and Oracle database server communicate directly with one another.
On this page, you can add, edit, or remove an address:
To add an address for the listener, click Add. The Address page appears, where you can add, and configure a new address for the listener.
To edit or remove a configured address, select the address, and click Edit or Remove.
For more information, see the chapter "Configuring and Administering the Listener" in the Oracle Net Services Administrator's Guide.
