Adding Privileges to Directory Objects

You can manage user privileges on individual directory objects search page. This provides greater control and security options in administering the file type objects in database tables. To add privileges when creating or editing directory objects:

1. Navigate to the Database target, and click Administration.

   The Database Administration page is displayed.

2. Click Directory Objects under Security.

   The Search Directory Objects page is displayed.

3. Click Create to create a new directory object, or select an existing directory object and click Edit to edit it; then click Privileges.

   The Directory Objects Privileges page is displayed.
