Use the Members page to:
Select a name and time zone for a new system.
Select target members for a new system, or change target members for an existing system.
Consider the following guidelines for the Members page.
The time zone you select is used in various operations performed at the system level, such as:
The systems statistics charts will use this time zone.
When scheduling jobs or blackouts, this time zone becomes the default time zone for the schedule you specify in the job or blackout.
When you click Add, a Search and Select Targets pop-up window appears with a list of all available targets. You can reduce the list by filtering your selection to a specific target type. After you have selected one or more targets and clicked Select, the Members page reappears, and the table displays your selected target members.
If you are adding a new system, it is suggested that you configure all the pages before clicking OK.
After you have finished configuring the system, you can view the members you selected by going to the main Systems page, then clicking the appropriate system in the Name column. The System page appears with four tabs, including Members. When you click the Members tab, the target members you specified on this page appear in a summary table indicating current availability, alerts, and policy violations.
If you've added another system as a member of a system and this system within a system has members, the nested group is expanded in the Members tab, and only the unique targets are shown.
