The Web Transaction Recorder enables the administrator to record a Web transaction by visiting a Web application. The recorder captures HTTP Requests, mouse, and keyboard clicks. The recorded transaction is replayed by the beacon and allows you to monitor the Web application.
Depending on the type of transaction you are recording, you can specify the Playback Mode which can be:
Request Simulation: This mode is used to play back the Web transaction by sending a series of HTTP requests to the Web application.
Browser Simulation: This mode is used to play back the Web transaction using a browser based engine, simulating each keyboard and mouse action such as data entry in a text field, or a mouse click.
