Aggregate services consist of one or more services, called subservices. A subservice is any service created in Enterprise Manager Grid Control. The availability, performance, usage, and business processes for the aggregate service depend on the availability, performance, usage and business processes for the individual subservices comprising the service. Refer to About Services for more information on aggregate services.
Use this page to select and define the metrics used to determine business metrics for your aggregate service. You can choose an individual metric for an individual subservice, or choose an aggregate metric based on a statistical function (MIN, MAX, AVG, SUM) over more than one metric from more than one subservice. The aggregate metric, based on the metrics you add to the table, will be used as a business metric for the aggregate service.
