Creating a Monitoring Template

Monitoring template allow you to define and save monitoring settings for specific target types. To define a new template:

From the Enterprise Manager Grid Control console, click Setup.
Click Monitoring Templates. The Monitoring Templates summary page displays.
Click Create. Enterprise Manager instructs you to select a target. Template monitoring settings are populated according to the selected target.
Once you have finished entering requisite information and setting metric thresholds and policies, click OK.
