privileged user

A privileged user, within the context of notifications, is an Enterprise Manager administrator that can perform the following tasks:

set up an e-mail gateway from which all e-mail notifications will be sent. There can be only one e-mail gateway per system
set up the SNMP trap host name to which an SNMP trap will be sent
associate an OS command with a notification rule created by any Enterprise Manager administrator
associate a PLSQL procedure with a notification rule created by any Enterprise Manager administrator
view a rule created by any Enterprise Manager administrator
edit a rule created by any Enterprise Manager administrator
delete a rule created by any Enterprise Manager administrator
perform all the functions that a non-privileged user can perform

Note: A privileged user is one who has been granted the Super User privilege on the Properties page of the Administrators wizard by a Super Administrator.
