The Oracle Management Agent, which is a process that you deploy on each monitored host, is responsible for monitoring all targets on the host, for communicating that information to the middle-tier Management Service, and for managing and maintaining the host and the products installed on the host.
An Oracle Management Agent must be installed on each host computer where there are targets you want to monitor and manage.
